Wellingborough
We’ve had yet another busy year in Wellingborough with much of it concentrated
on our community, cultural and charity projects. We’ve now raised almost £35,000
for over 40 local, national and international charities and disaster appeals.
In 2016 we raised funds for 2 local charities
donating £1,001 each to:
• Niamh’s Next Step - who raise funds and
support children diagnosed with cancer,
primarily Neuroblastoma
• Glamis Hall – a local community and wellbeing
centre for the over 50s, particularly the elderly
In addition to this, we continue to sponsor child
education in Gujarat and support the annual HQ
fundraising appeals.
Our nominated charities for 2017 are also both
local to Northamptonshire:
• Dostiyo - an organisation for Asian men and
women providing social activities and help them
overcome cultural, religious, physical and social
barriers that they face in their daily lives
• Independent Diabetes Trust – an organisation
for people living with diabetes run by people
living with diabetes
