SPM East London & Ilford Sardar Namaskar Shree Prajapati Mandal of East London wish that everyone had a heartiest Deepavali and our best wishes for the New Year, Vikram Savant 2074 to all our Prajapatis in the UK and overseas. May God bless you all with good health, wealth and prosperity. SPM East London branch joined SPA (UK) in 2011. Since then, we can proudly say that our members have wholeheartedly supported SPA (UK) events. Once again, this year’s Mahila Samelan and Senior Sneh Milan were very well supported by our branch members with our ticket allocations being sold out completely. For a small branch like ours, this was a tremendous achievement. I am also humble and proud to say that three of the East London branch members were elected onto the SPA (UK) Senior’s committee. Balvantbhai, Ramanbhai and Ranjanaben have been part of the organising committee for the past year. We are proud to say that the costs for food at the event was donated by one of our senior members, Shree Parvatiben Maganbhai Mistry. Our members thoroughly enjoyed this year’s event with Vasantbhai and Ramanbhai from our branch entertaining everyone with a Rastra geet and bhajans. Over the course of the year, our members supported us well in our key events of Navratri and Diwali. We also held our second Shradh bhajan event in memory of our dearly departed. We invited a local Bhajan Mandli (bhajan singing group) to sing a variety of bhajans during the afternoon. They were ably supported by some of our members. The event was a resounding success and has become a permanent fixture in our annual calendar. Finally, I would like to thank all of our committee members, volunteers and all those who have donated generously over the years and continue to do so. Our heartiest congratulations go to all Prajapatis who have achieved excellence in their chosen fields and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those who have lost their loved ones.
