Our Shradh Bhajans are always well attended and this year we had nearly 200 people at this event . It was encouraging to see many youths attend this function . It makes a difference when a family sponsors the event and this encourages their own young family members to participate too .
As usual , the Navrati function is an event where participation involves at least 2000 people during the ten days of celebration . This is the only event where nearly 80 % of the members come to the community event thus giving a very robust encouragement to the volunteers to come forward to do Samaj Sewa . as 4 years old to come up on stage and perform . It is very sweet to hear them sing a simple lyric in Gujarati . These are simple ways to encourage children to participate in Samaj activities at a very young age . During the visit by the Prime Minister of India , Shree Narendra Modi , at least 250 people from London branch were registered so that they had an opportunity to see him at Wembley Stadium on 13th November 2015 .
