Namaste and Jai Shree Krishna
It gives me tremendous pleasure to present a brief summary of financial activities . First of alI I would like to express my gratitude for the wisdom , support and hard work by Rajnikantbhai Mistry from Leicester and Bhupendrabhai from Wellingborough as my assistants , without whom it would not have been possible to maintain high

‘‘ SPA ( UK ) will donate £ 20,000 for the Nepal Earthquate disaster ...’’

standards over the past four years . I also express my sincere appreciation to Jay Mistry of London who has provided excellent advice and support as our accounts examiner .
This year we have simplified our financial management system so it will be much straightforward to create reports . In terms of financial activities , we have had a mix of surplus and deficits from SPA ( UK ) activities . Whilst the overall balance is stable , we continue to apply the principle of self-funded events planning , supplemented with sewa and goodwill of volunteers and participants . Where there are shortfalls , we assess the root cause and plan forward based on lessons learnt . On the whole , due to popular support Mahila Samelan and Seniors Sneh Milan have shown to be fully self-financing events . For all other events I would request our members to fully participate . For our Prajapati Sandesh publication , SPA ( UK ) would dearly like to see many of our
Prajapati community members who own businesses , to submit advertisements so it will help to take the Sandesh to a unique and the very highest quality publication .
SPA ( UK ) has continued to raise funds and support charitable causes . This year the Golf Tournament raised £ 700 for the Education Fund , we raised £ 15.944.16 for the Nepal Earthquake disaster appeal and with addition of funds from SPA ( UK ), the Samaj will donate a sum of £ 20,000 as soon as we chose a suitable project .
The Nairobi Trust Fund ’ s income has continued to be used to fund charitable causes through SPA ( UK ) ITF . The value of the Nairobi Trust Fund at the end of the financial period stood at £ 104,587.31 of which £ 6,998.64 is available for charitable use .
