Loughborough
“..we have now
elected a new
management
committee...”
Namaste & Jai Shree Krishna. SPA (UK) Loughborough is a small branch
made up of approximately 110 family households. After some encouragement we have
now elected a new management committee to kick start some activities for this year.
We started off with Bhajan Kirtan and Samuh Bhojan programme which was well
attended. Navratri was well attended and Nutan Varsh Meet and Greet get together
was quite a success too.
Many of our members attended and really enjoyed both the Mahila Samelan in
Birmingham and the Senior Samelan held in Leicester and also represented for SPA
(UK) Sports Day games.
Fund raising for the Nepal earthquake’s long term rehabilitation programme inspired
many members to take part in a 10km sponsored walk on Sunday 28th June 2015.
