The start of a new year is really
good time to reflect and think about
the Youth Team’s achievements
over the last year and where we
really want to take the Youth Team
next year. The key for me again
this year is to continue to increase
participation and events at a local
level; however at each branch level
we are not alone. The majority
of our branches are located close
to another and I would like to see
more interaction between the youth
members across branches. This is an
ideal opportunity to host regional
events for our members such as
darts or football competitions. It
will bring together our members
and will be a memorable day. It is
only by building our network locally
can we increase participation at our
larger national events.
On behalf of the SPA (UK) Youth
Team, we’d like to wish you and your
families a very Happy Diwali and the
very best in the New Year.
