Shri Surya Maha
Yagna: 2013
- “ Surya Dev had himself descended and with his
blessings, we experienced the warmest
weekend of the year ”!
Shri Surya Maha Yagna
Namaste,

ne of our main objectives is to help those in need and raise money for charity. In the past, we have supported
numerous charities including international disasters such as the Indian Earthquake and Tsunami Appeal. In the
last 8 years, the branch has donated over £22,000. We also sponsor children in India for their educational support.

Shri Surya Maha Yagna
This was held at the Hindu Community
Centre in Wellingborough and is only
the second time it has been held in the
UK after Coventry in 1997.

Surya Bhagwan. It seemed like Surya

with his blessings, we experienced
the warmest weekend of the year.

the Havans; a magnifying glass was
placed in between the Sun’s rays and
wooden splinters and fire was created!

donated very generously. There was

been planning this event for several
months and the many volunteers
from all of the community. Although it
