They can have the run of the house for three hours and you can be open Wednesday and Thursday nights and they can come in and have their services those nights before the weekend wedding. Make sure you get a nonrefundable deposit and a confirmed list of what each participant is getting. And note that any changes ‘the night of’ normally cannot be accommodated. You can’t ask your massage therapist to come in to do a massage and then have the client ask for a pedicure instead. Many spas ask for the payments upfront and that protects you against no shows. Wedding can be very lucrative but challenging and you’ll be successful if you keep things simple and uncomplicated.

I love spas too and get exactly where you are coming from. I wish things were free don’t you? But sadly back to reality. I think there are good prices and maybe some bargains out there but you have to look and almost be like a coupon clipper at the same time. Get on several local spa email lists and on spa Facebook pages. Quite often spas have last minute sell offs or appointments that need to be filled; they post them on Facebook or do an email blast. And those appointments are sometimes the in the middle of the day and are often hard to get to. Many spas offer a loyalty members program and you can save if you rack up points or spend so much money. There are combo treatments too that are packaged together to offer a savings. Of course there are Groupon offers quite often sign up on a few websites. Don’t be afraid to shop price and product. Sometimes prices are high because the product is very expensive, in the spa world ‘you get what you pay for.’ Ask your friends too where they go and how their experiences have been. Don’t be afraid to pick up the phone, a live voice explaining might be your new best way to find deals! Half the fun is the thrill of the hunt- good luck!
