Public Education and Community Outreach is a mainstay of the Southlake Fire Department . We provide multiple education opportunities and services : accredited CPR / AED training , child safety seat inspections and installations , fire extinguisher training , fall prevention workshops , station tours , story time at the station , Crud Cruiser and many more .

Providing Environmentally Friendly Disposal Options
The City of Southlake partners yearly with Fort Worth Environmental , Expanco Documents , Republic Waste and Texas Recovery Systems to provide a way for citizens to dispose of household hazardous waste , documents and electronics in a safe and environmentally conscious way . This year Southlake ’ s Crud Cruiser event disposed of over 24,000 lbs of hazardous chemicals and over 7,000 lbs of electronics and documents .
