This suggested that there was a significant opening in the market for a magazine that helps inform this generation and combines reading for pleasure with education. I originally took inspiration from Rolling Stone for my heading font, eventually choosing to be more original and consistent with a font better suited in all elements of the cover. As you can see my designs developed immensely over the weeks and I tried so many combinations, often simply as a way to rule them out. I felt in the end that with its bright and busy background, eye-catching illustration and bold red heading, Trending finally represented the brand I intended.
