never said “I love you” to each other. Not because they didn’t love each other, but it just wasn’t something they did until Pam’s senior year of high school. She had already lost both her brothers and if there was one thing she wanted her family to know at the end of each day it was that she truly loved them.

Following Pam's high school graduation she worked at a real estate office and later married her best friend. She then decided she wanted to go into the teaching field and got her bachelor's degree. She taught physical education and health. She gave birth to a precious little boy who she named Sean after her brother. He was the first of her two sons. As the motivated person that Pam is it was no surprise to Rosalie when she decided to advance herself and get her master's in special education. To sum that all up Rosalie told us, “She went to school, went to college, had two beautiful boys and continues to push herself. I think that’s quite the little lady.” Pam is certainly an accomplishment for Rosalie to be proud of.

Through all the ups and downs of this crazy thing we call life, Rosalie Quimby has kept a loving, caring and kind heart. Her love for the people she cares about doesn’t go unnoticed. Just from one conversation with Rosalie I was introduced to a whole new outlook on life. I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from Rosalie’s story. Thanks to Rosalie I now have more of an appreciation for the little things and I understand the importance of keeping a positive attitude. Thank you, Rosalie, for teaching me that no matter now bad things get they will always get better with time.
