Beautifully Broken

I had this idea for a photo
shoot back when I was reading
about a Japanese art called
"kintsukoroi", meaning golden
repair. What it is, is someone
takes broken pieces of pottery
and repairs them by using a
golden lacquer. The result is
stunning, and turns a once
broken thing into something
even more beautiful than it was
before it was broken. I, being a
lover of metaphors, found this
to be extremely relevant to me.
Not just to me, but to all of us...
