SHADOWS (COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET) CONT.
As I got older, time moved on
still my family didn’t accept me.
So I stayed in the shadow not living free.
One day I grew up from my feelings.
I finally stopped.
Stopped being who I’m not,
I became Diamond Marie Gomez.
This is truly a blessing in disguise.
I learned that for me to be fully happy,
I had to take off the clothes.
Cut the hair,
And be who I wanna be,
And that’s human,
Simple.
Now I hold the hand of the girl of my dreams
nothing will get in my way.  
I am OUT of the shadows.
Now I’m in the light where I see beauty,
Smartness,
Kindness. ●
