Anyone who knows me knows that I have an obsession with F. Scott Fitzgerald. I took a class in college completely devoted to him, and I have an entire shelf on my bookcase for books by and about him. This is why every autumn I fall back in love with this quote. Life starts over, even in the fashion world. The air crisps up, and people start to slow down a bit with the upcoming holidays. Family is together more and crazier than ever. Also, everyone is stylish in the fall, even if it’s just for practical reasons! So whether you need some upcoming inspiration for fall clothes or activities, or whether you need a break from the crazy family—I’m hoping you are inspired by this issue.
This season we are doing a mid-season release, hopefully that means winter will be right around the corner! I am so excited for this issue. We have some new team members who you will meet, an article collaboration, and a collection of our usual pieces. We have changed the “What the team is doing” to “Spotlight” where we will get to know one team member better. We are growing as a magazine as well. You will see that the photoshoots are more editorial than our previous issues.
Also, in the last few pages you will see a lookbook. We will pick one item of clothing or an overall theme and highlight that. This season’s lookbook is gloves! You can check it out on pages 24-29.
