burden off the families so they can
spend more time focused on helping
the child beat cancer instead of
whether they will have a house to go
home to.
Kelinda: You have a gala coming up on
March 23, 2019 in Philly, right? How
can readers get involved?
Devon: Yes, the most important needs
we have right now are sponsors
and donors. Readers can visit
stillstrongfoundation.org to help
support.
Kelinda: If you could deliver a personal
message to the parent of a child with
cancer today, what would you say?
Devon: No matter what the doctors say,
no matter how dark it may seem, as
long as your child is alive, you still have
a chance. You’re Still In The Game! We
almost lost Leah to this disease a few
times but we kept fighting and now
she is almost 4 years in remission.
On March 25th, Leah will celebrate 4
years in remission. She is now enjoying
life as a healthy eight-year-old who loves
soccer, hanging with friends, and making
YouTube videos.
