How to Survive Your Hell Week
Marcus writes that while he was
stunned to see some of the physically
strongest candidates give up and ring
the bell, he never once entertained the
idea. The thought never even occurred
to him.
The philosophy of the Navy SEALs is
this: “I will never quit. . . . My nation
expects me to be physically harder and
mentally stronger than my enemies.
If I get knocked down, I will get back
up, every time. I will draw on every
remaining ounce of strength to protect
my teammates. . . . I am never out of
the fight.”
