We have been crafted to display the
likeness of our Maker within the
uniqueness of our own ethnicity,
personality, fingerprints, touch, smile,
and vocal cadence. Humanity is the
natural environment that God designed
for Himself to live in and manifest
Himself through. He chose humanity.
You are His chosen location. You are
the Father’s address on Earth. Now
we can choose to take the character
and competence He empowers us with
and exhibit them in a world desperate
for grace and truth. We now align
ourselves with God’s audacious plan
to deeply affect the world through
ordinary people.
All humanity, and all creation, is
represented in one man: Jesus!
I think the most amazing thing about
Jesus when He walked the earth was
that the “worst” sinners in society
were attracted to Him. Prostitutes
and publicans witnessed in His life an
integrity they wanted for their own.
He stood holy and untouched by the
world, and while He was therefore truly
qualified to condemn them, He did not.
He exemplified what they desired, and
somehow they knew it could be true
of themselves. He wanted them to
realize, recognize, and appreciate that
the qualities they were attracted to in
Him were the very things He wanted to
reproduce in them.
God established the value of humanity
