CORAXALIA CHOIR
Do you like singing? Would you like to
join a choir? We are inviting new singers
to become members of the local, long-
established choir, Coral Coraxalia under
the leadership of Eusebio Pita. Great,

concerts, social events, possible touring,

FERNANDO’S FRIENDS
A support group for people experiencing
loss (through death/ ill health/ loss of self-
esteem). Including volunteers, nurse,
psychologist and social worker. The aim is
to have a group of “friends” to support
each other through tough times, picking
up the phone just to say hello, sharing
information. We are looking for people
who are willing to support others, e.g. to
spend time with someone, provide lifts,
do practical things around the house. If

Founded over 30 years ago GINS has
around 300 Members from many
countries around the world. They play
competitions at Anoreta, Baviera and Los
Moriscos every week with monthly away
games at interesting courses around the

them at any of these. They also have a
social calendar for members and their

November 11 – Spanish History Group.

November 13 – Fashion Show. An
afternoon of fun, see a wide range of
quality new & second hand, clothes, shoes
and accessories, modelled by friends of
Lux Mundi. During the interval there will
be drinks and cakes to buy. After the show
there a chance to purchase items
modelled. Time 15.30 for 16.00. Tickets
€6 or with Friends of Lux Mundi card €5,
at the Centre, limited number of seats.
November 18 – U3A Art Appreciation
Group. Please come and join friends and
watch a DVD. Andrew Graham- Dixon
examines the history of French art,
revealing how it emerged from a struggle
between tradition, revolution and rules of
the citizens. He compresses centuries of
culture into three thematically linked
chapters. This will be followed by a lively
discussion. 11am. €3 or with Friends of
Lux Mundi Card €2.
November 19 – Concert “All Aboard” by a
Touch of Class. Come and see the well
known choir and concert company. The
show is a parody based on a cruise
"Trump of the seas", the boat captain is
loosely based on Donald Trump, and
there is also a scene set in the nightclub
on board and a talent show. Songs include
Ballads and songs from the 60s and 70s to
be held in the House of Culture in
Fuengirola. Tickets €21 or with Friends of
Lux Mundi card €20.
November 21 - Coach trip to Gibraltar.

Card €12. Departs Gibraltar 15.30 approx.

November 26 – Talk about “Living Will”.
Come and hear how to make a “Living
Will”, held at Hospital Comarcal, Torre
del Mar, in the Salon de Actos. Time
11.00. Entrance free but please confirm if
you wish to attend as soon as possible, as
there is limited space.
November 28 – Trip to Mijas Pueblo and
Viveros Guzman. A day trip to the
beautiful village of Mijas which nestles in
the mountainside about 10km from the
coast above Fuengirola. There will be time
for sightseeing, shopping, refreshments
and lunch. At 15.30 join the coach for a
short journey to visit the large garden
centre of Guzman, in Alhaurin del Torre.
