CAS news Dog Report still looking for their forever homes. Happy Tales Both are a little shy when they meet new people but they are quite affectionate once they get to know you. They are now about six months old, have been vaccinated and are in perfect health. At the end of May the Costa Animal Society (CAS) worked in conjunction with TAIL in Torrox and Valle Verde in La Herradura to resolve an urgent situation of ten Lab cross pups that were born to a Labrador in Frigiliana. The owner of the mother was facing eviction for having 12 dogs in his garden and the pups needed new homes by a deadline of June 1, 2017. Marilyn was rescued by a 12 year-old girl who saw the pup being kicked by some boys in a park. Unfortunately, when the girl brought the pup home her mother couldn’t cope with another pet to look after as they already had two dogs and a cat. Marilyn is now being housed in kennels until a more permanent home can be found. The three charities advertised the pups far and wide with five going to the Netherlands, two to Germany and one to Norway. Two others were rehomed in Spain all within several weeks time, an amazing feat considering it can take months to find new
