Copenhagen is
ahead of much of
Europe in
developing
principles of
sustainability,
creating
ecosystems that
are whole, using
technology for
harmonization.
Copenhagen is
setting an
Vincent van Gogh
example for
others to follow.
The city is a soundbox of ideas, many as yet unrealized, that
will give us hope for our collective future.
Shauna Isaac will
talk about famous
works of art that
have been stolen;
masterpieces by
Munch,
Rembrandt,
Vermeer and
others. She will
talk about why
thieves steal and
the appeal of
famous
masterpieces. She
will also discuss
how art theft is
the third largest
Gustav Klimt
international
crime after drugs
and weapons, and the implications
of this.
Shauna Isaac is a lecturer and she is
currently managing an art recovery
company. She has also served on
the Looted Art Work Group for the
Holocaust Era Assets Conference in
Prague, where she was instrumental
in drafting the Terezin Declaration
on Nazi looting.
Rafael Anderson has had an international career working on
prestigious projects in Hong Kong, China, the UK, Denmark,
Sweden and India. For the past several years he has been living
and working in Granada and the Alpujarra.
