Art at the dentist

be displaying some of Margaret
Riordan’s artwork in their clinic in
January and February. Worth popping in
with whom we have a very good working
relationship and help small rescue
groups throughout Spain. We have a
great team of volunteers and one of our
colleagues lives in the UK so we have an
extensive network. It’s challenging but
when it works, the rewards far outweigh
the heartache - that’s why we do it!
Pier project
The regional government is studying
plans to build a pier at Torre del Mar.
The present design is for a five-metre
wide walkway stretching 65 metres out
from the coast, with a 10-metre-wide
lookout area at the end. The
construction project was first revealed
two years ago, since when its designers
have been working with the Costas
department to make it a reality.
