Additionally, we are always eager to hear from people who are
interested in becoming shop volunteers. One four hour shift
once a week makes a big difference. There are always two
volunteers per shift making for a safe, relaxed, congenial
environment. Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday
from 10.00am until 2.00pm.
CAS also focuses much of its efforts
on helping cats that live on the
streets, or in the right
circumstances, rescuing a friendly
feline who has been abandoned.
Regularly CAS is called upon to
assist stray cats which may require

veterinary care such as sterilisation,
evaluation and medication for
infections or illnesses and/or the treatment of wounds.

Could you help?
CAS is always in need of more volunteer
helpers in a number of areas, so if you have
spare time to fill, please make contact! In
particular, more fundraisers are needed to
work with our team. In addition, fosterers are
always required to take short-term care of
animals until a permanent home can be
found for them. Even if you are only here for
few months a year, CAS would appreciate

As always, CAS is in need of fosterers for kittens, especially, but
not only, those that need bottle-feeding. Also, we do have
several adult cats needing homes or foster homes. All of these
cats are fully house-trained, neutered, and vaccinated.

dogs and cats requiring help from CAS.
