Unregistered holiday
lets crackdown
Fewer than one in four holiday rental
properties in the province of Málaga
has been registered with the police,
according to data from the Tourism
Ministry. The requirement has been in
force since 2016, but a large number of
house and apartment owners appear to
have ignored it.
The figures suggest that only 4,500 out
of 19,000 rental properties in the
province have been correctly
registered and that
