The SDGs form the next step in a global strategy to pursue development of people and the planet in prosperity, peace, and partnership. They cover seventeen areas of focus from poverty eradication and gender equality to environmental protection. Of note, Sustainable Development Goal 16 pertains directly to peacebuilding: “Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.” Table of Contents | Quick Look | Contact PKSOI 18
