Wednesday – MSU Billings 4-11 at Western Washington 5-3. Friday – MSU Billings 1-4 at Saint Martin’s 13-2; Northwest Nazarene 2-3 at Western Oregon 6-8. Saturday – Central Washington 3-7 at Simon Fraser 1-0; MSU Billings 3-0 at Saint Martin’s 9-5; Northwest Nazarene 1-2 at Western Oregon 3-14. Sunday – Central Washington 1-0 at Western Washington 7-5; Concordia 4-9 at Simon Fraser 8-2. WOU’s Sunday doubleheader with Western Washington has also been rescheduled and will now be played on April 2 beginning at 2 p.m. Likewise, a scheduled doubleheader Saturday in Lacey between Western Washington (11-7, 4-2) and Saint Martin’s (17-12, 3-1) will also start 24 hours earlier. WOU swept a four-game conference series last weekend with Northwest Nazarene (2-13, 0-4). Meanwhile, Simon Fraser was swept by Central Washington (8-7, 2-2) in its conference openers. Saint Martin’s opened its conference season last week winning 3-of-4 games with Montana State Billings (10-13, 3-5) which is idle this week. THIS WEEK: Monday – Notre Dame de Namur 0-7 at Saint Martin’s 9-4. Tuesday – Notre Dame de Namur 0-3 at Saint Martin’s 2-5. Wednesday – Northwest Christian 0-4 at Western Oregon 2-10. Friday – Northwest Nazarene at Central Washington, 1 p.m.; Western Washington at Saint Martin’s, 1 p.m.; Simon Fraser at Western Oregon, 1 p.m. Saturday – Northwest Nazarene at Central Washington, noon. Sunday – Simon Fraser at Saint Martin’s, noon; Western Washington at Western Oregon, rescheduled for April 2, 2:30 p.m. Western Washington trails Western Oregon by one game after winning four of six conference games in the opening week. The Vikings split a four-game series with MSUB, before sweeping a home doubleheader with Central Washington. CWU ended the week with a 2-2 record. The Wildcats are at home this weekend for a four-game series with Northwest Nazarene, which will be looking for its first conference victories. CWU swept the Clan 3-1 and 7-0 before getting swept 7-1 and 5-0 by the Vikings. Sammy Morris led Central offensively with six hits in 14 at bats. In the circle Lindsey Kamphuis and Kiana Wood allowed five runs in 13 and 11 innings, respectively, each posting 1-1 PORTLAND, Ore. – Defending GNAC champion Western Oregon, riding a six-game winning streak, is at home Friday as it tries to protect a one game lead in the early portion of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference softball pennant race. 1
