Facebook founder testifies in Cambridge Analytica scandal on April 10-11
Earlier in the year, the furore over allegations that
over the personal information of over 85 million
Facebook users was sold to now-defunct political
consulting and data analysis firm called
Cambridge Analytica started resulting in anger and
condemnation of Facebook and its founder. The
sale was a direct breach of the consent decree
entered into law by the platform with the
American Federal Trade Commission, forcing
founder Mark Zuckerberg to testify before the
Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and
Transpotation.
