A wrinkle in Time
“A Wrinkle in Time”, a Disney movie is based on Madeleine L’Engle’s 1962
novel of the same name, was released on March 9, 2018. “A Wrinkle in Time” is
able to pose a series of philosophical questions. The film brings to life the story of
an adolescent Meg Murry (Storm Reid), on a mission to rescue his scientist father.
She is guided by a trio of guardian angels collectively called “the Mrs.” The all-
powerful trio of ‘Mrs.’ is played by the brilliant actresses Oprah Winfrey, Reese
Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling.
Madeleine L’Engle’s, the author of the book got the superb idea of the plot and
names of the powerful angelic trio and their time-immortal names - Mrs. Whatsit,
Mrs. Which and Mrs. Who, during a family camping trip.
The movie screenwriter is Jennifer Lee, director is Oscar-nominated director Ava
DuVernay and producer Catherine Hand.
