1. Start the thread on the "top bend" of the hook behind the eye. Do your best not to build up too much bulk with excessive thread wraps.

2. Tie in your Polypropylene Para-Post on top of the hook shank. •(To create less bulk, I use about a 2 inch length of the yarn. Thin out the fibers accordingly. Place the Polypropylene on top of the tie in point of the shank. The tie in point should be lined up in the middle of the yarn. Make figure 8 wraps to tie and secure in. Fold the yarn upwards and make a couple more figure eight wraps, then post up.... Wrap up creating the post about 3 mm. then wrap back down.)

4. Tie a stripped Peacock Quill where you stopped your thread.

3. Tie in your shuck materials just behind the post you just made and work your way down to just a bit into the bend.
