Tying

The FOAM HEAD Streamer

by James Smith

S T E P S

If you pursue Smallmouth or bucketmouth bass, here is a streamer pattern you may want to try. Designed to be fished with a sinking line in the upper water column, the angle of the face causes the pattern to dive on the strip with a little side to side action but the faom head is enough to cause the pattern to float back up on the pause. The added weight off sets the displacement causing the pattern to rise a little slower. Fished without a sinking line the pattern floats with only the head exposed with the rest of the body setting just below the surface.
