Teams finished up their day and started to make their way into the Collins River BBQ for Friday night’s festivities. There were stories of “moving” fish and missed opportunities, and 7 teams put fish on the board. No monsters as of yet, but there was still time. Collins River BBQ treated the anglers with an awesome meal, pulled pork, baked potatoes, and all the trimmings. Todd Gregory (owner of Towee Boats and tournament head honcho) had lined up Roger Alan Wade for the night’s entertainment. Unfortunately, Roger got ill and couldn’t make it so, Todd rounded up some extremely talented local musicians to fill in. Beers were drank, lies were told and crews were anxious to get back on the river for day 2.
