Game On! Friday morning came early after the festivities held at cabin 6 at Rock Island State Park. Teams geared up and loaded their boats, heading out to the various boat ramps. The day started out cool thanks to the cold front that rolled through Thursday night. Our team (Team Ozark Pile Pursuits), consisting of myself, Dave Hosler (Pilecast.net), and Tom Hazelton (VoyageurPursuits.com), decided on the Collins River for day one. The river was in great shape but it was musky fishing after all… We hit all the good looking spots but received no love from the musky gods. Our day was cut short by motor troubles but we had heard via text messages that there were several teams on the board. While everyone else was out beating the water, our good friend Buddy McMahon was starting his unbelievable mural on the wall of Collins River BBQ, which was headquarters for the tournament.
