Claire Bian Art Creation « Character Identity Through Futuristic Modular Clothing Design My thesis project was focused on making distribute my time on each step in the support their personality and identity, specialized in (concepting, animating, clothing for game characters that would going through the entire work pipeline of concept design through optimization in Unreal Engine 4. My three main areas of study were informative fashion design, learning and optimizing workflow pipeline, and asset modularity with material variation. I faced several challenges during the process. Self-learning Marvelous Design, a software that is still new to the industry, and trying to integrate it into a pipeline with which I was not familiar required a tremendous amount of early development time. It was also a challenge to equally 8 ART CREATION pipeline. Attempting work that I am not rigging, and beyond) demanded that I spend more time on those areas so that I could ensure desired quality was met for the next step to go smoothly. I chose this topic because I wanted to raise awareness of how fashion is important and beneficial for the industry. I also proved to myself that I am a self- motivated person who’s willing to and interested in exploring new options and methods.
