“Transmissions”
“Transmissions” is a first-person, single Dying Light is unique because of its
exploration and storytelling through player that mechanic to give players an engaging
player level for Dying Light focusing on
action rather than overt dialogue or notes.
The project lasted approximately 200
hours.
Players begin the level shipwrecked on
the coast of an abandoned island with the
goal of finding three missing scouts. As
they explore the area, it becomes clear
the island was the site of more than just
a zombie invasion. Searching through the
hillside, players uncover the remains of a
secret military operation and discover its
role in the downfall of the three missing
scouts.

unique parkour system. I wanted to use
experience outside of traditional combat.
Throughout the level, players are tasked
with completing rigorous sections of
parkour in order to reach objectives or
evade hostile zombies. In addition to
mission-specific objectives, successful
parkouring also unlocks optional areas
with helpful pickups and additional story
elements.
