Pranav Kumar Level Design « Red City Red City was my second Directed I undertook this project because of my months to create. Red City is a mini- experience. I wanted to make a level Focus Study project. It took four campaign consisting of two levels for the cooperative multiplayer game called Left 4 Dead 2. In this campaign, players take on the role of survivors who make their way through a city while fending off zombie hordes. In the first level, the players abandon their temporary safe house to get to a building with a higher rooftop. In the second level, the players create a S.O.S signal on the rooftop to catch the attention of a nearby rescue chopper. The players defend themselves against the common and the specially infected until the chopper makes its arrival. 30 LEVEL DESIGN deep interest in creating a multiplayer that I could test with a thriving online modding community. Left 4 Dead 2 and its community helped meet this goal. The time spent working on this project not only improved my technical skills and level building skills, but it also honed my ability to deconstruct the feedback given by players on the internet.
