Marathon in a Month Recap:

Our 2nd Annual Marathon in a Month Signature Virtual Event was so much fun

with 525 participants challenging themselves to new physical activities and logging their progress throughout the month of March! We congratulated 182 Marathon Champions who reached 26.2 miles or more by March 31st. Marathon Champions were celebrated with certificates, an official Facebook announcement, a cool printable crown, and placed into a drawing for exciting fitness gear prizes. Participants received the opportunity to attend new mini events this year such as ZumbaTHON, Amazing Race and Let’s Glow that served over 400 Girl Scouts in grades K-12.

We are already in the works for planning and making Marathon in a Month 2019

even bigger with crazier mini events to earn those precious miles!

Hangout with Girl Guides:

Girl Guides of Ireland excitedly joined 40 GSSNE Girl Scouts at Camp Hoffman on March 28 for an evening gathering of activities including: SWAPS, Irish dancing,

team building games, local Irish dish sampling, S’mores by the fire along with

songs and story exchanges. Girl Guides shared their adventures while visiting

New England and it wrapped up to be a pretty magical experience!
