Welcome to the new electronic version of S'More News!! Our Marketing Team has been rolling out some exciting changes to improve communications and this
e-newsletter is the most recent effort to better support you.
At the start of this summer, our delightful intern Richelle researched electronic newsletter formats from other councils and produced the layout for this inaugural e-newsletter. We hope that you enjoy this bi-monthly, interactive format of S'More News. We believe this e-newsletter will allow us to keep you up-to-date more frequently, while saving on design and print costs that come along with creating printed materials, not to mention the trees we will save! As you look through the newsletter you will see live links to our website and social media pages; click around, we think this platform is quite user friendly and we hope you do too!
In true Girl Scout fashion, we never want to exclude our supporters, so if you know of anyone who would prefer a printed copy of our e-newsletter please let us know by emailing Sarah Cholewa at [email protected].
Speaking of changes, have you checked out our new website? We are very excited to share this new platform with you!
You can look forward to additional improvements here at GSSNE in the coming months as we transition our forms to fillable electronic versions of the current hard copy forms. Our goal is to reduce paperwork time so we can focus more on the true reason we choose to commit our time to Girl Scouting—the girls!
We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. I have recently visited our camps and it does my heart good to see our girls enjoying the warm weather and filling their days with laughter, excitement and energy!! Enjoy the rest of this season and we look forward to what the rest of the year will bring.
