Cookie Sale Community Service Project

Each year the Girl Scouts of Southeastern

New England selects a local organization

to be the recipient of our annual Cookie

Sale Community Service Project. As part

of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, girls and

troops learn about the work that these

organizations do and are given the

opportunity to support these organizations

by volunteering their time. Troops may also

choose to donate a portion of their troop proceeds to support the organization.

For the 2018-2019 Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program, Little Rhody Rescue will

be the recipient of the Community Service Project!

Little Rhody Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue and quarantine facility located in Rhode Island who strive to find safe homes for underprivileged and neglected dogs. All of their dogs are rescued from animal shelters in Tennessee that are considered to be “high kill” shelters. They are then tested for disease, spayed and neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed and administered preventions for fleas, ticks and heart worm. To date Little Rhody Rescue and its affiliates have adopted over 11,500 shelter dogs to loving wonderful families. For more information, visit littlerhodyrescue.com.

Cookie Booths

GSUSA has yet again been hard at

work securing new partnerships with

businesses for the 2019 Girl Scout

Cookie Program. Returning this year,

GSUSA is partnering with JOANN Fabrics,

Dunkin’ Donuts and Walmart to provide

troops with exciting cookie booth

opportunities! Council will be in contact

with each service unit’s Product Sales

Coordinators about these great locations!

To be respectful of businesses and other volunteers and communities, troops should check with their service unit Product Sales Coordinator before booking cookie booths.

If you are looking to book a cookie booth outside of your service unit, please contact the Product Sales Coordinator in that community.
