This year’s Cookie Program theme is
“Stand Up, Stand Out”, and the mascot is Ella
the Elephant! With Ella
as their guide, our Girl Scout volunteers help
to foster, nurture and support girls’ education and spirit, inspiring
them to be the best version of themselves.
Cookie Sale Community Service Project
Each year the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England selects a local organization to be the recipient of our annual Cookie Sale Community
Service Project. As part of the Cookie Program, girls and troops learn about the work that these organizations do and are given the opportunity to support these organizations by volunteering their time. Troops may also choose to donate a portion of their troop proceeds to support the organization.
The 2018 GSSNE Cookie Sale Community Service Project is
The Confetti Foundation. The mission of
The Confetti Foundation is to supply birthday parties
to children who have to spend their birthday in the hospital.
The foundation was started with the hope that families
would be able to shift their focus from their
child’s sickness for just 30 minutes and celebrate.
Although the party is not a cure, it is a
welcome distraction and a good reminder
that every child deserves to be celebrated.
