Laura’s Favorite Game:
Giggling Gertie
Have the girls form a circle with one girl in the middle. The girl in the middle throws a handkerchief or a scarf into the air. At that moment, all the girls start laughing until the handkerchief hits the ground. Once it hits the ground, their laughter must stop and their faces must become expressionless. Girls still laughing are out. Be sure to take turns being the girl in the middle.
Tessa’s Favorite Craft:
Garden in a Glove
Supplies:
Clear plastic food glove
Vegetable Seeds
Cotton ball
Water
Instructions:
-Place few seeds in each finger of the glove.
-Wet cotton ball (not too much).
-Place one cotton ball on top of the seed in each finger of the glove.
-Gently squish down so it is covering the seed.
-Place glove in a bright spot.
-Watch the seeds grow!
-When seeds have sprouted cut glove right above the sprouted plants.
-Remove plant, discard glove and cotton balls.
-Place spouted seeds in pot or directly in the dirt to continue the growth.
-Don't forget to water.
