GOT A GAS LEAK?
Place soap around the gas pipes. If the soap begins to bubble, you have a gas leak.
HAMMER HACK:
Use a comb to hold nails in place while you are hammering.
NO PAINT THINNER?
Soak your brushes in a pan of hot white vinegar between 10-30 minutes depending on their size.
Rinse with cold water once paint starts coming off the brush.
SAVE EXCESS PAINT:
Put a thick rubber band over the middle of the paint tin. When you dip your brush in, scrape the excess paint on the rubber band.
GOT GREASE STAINS ON CLOTHES?
Rub a thick amount of chalk on the stain and wait 30-60 mins depending on the size of the stain. Rub the chalk off then place in the wash.
KEEP LOSING SCREWS?
Grab a piece of duct tape (or similar) and push the screws into the tape.
Stick the tape onto something (a drill, the wall etc.) so you don't lose it.
