STORE YOUR PAINT BRUSH
While your paint brush is not in use, seal it in a ziploc bag! This will stop the brush from drying out, and contain any mess!
SCREWING NUTS?
When you need to screw on a nut in a tight space, hold it on your finer with a piece of scotch tape - the tape is thin enough for a machine screw to poke through!
MARKING WALL STUD LOCATIONS?
When trying to mark wall stud locations on the ceiling, duct-tape a carpenter's pencil to a long stick for easy reach!
HOW TO:
FIND BROKEN GLASS
If you smash a glass on the floor, smaller shards are hard to see. Tip: shine a torch across the floor and search for the sparkle!
KEEPING PUTTY
KNIVES CLEAN
Make some cuts in the side of a cardboard box, and pull your putty knfe through the slits. The goo will slide off and into the box - making an easy clean-up!
UNTANGLED FAIRY LIGHTS
Keep your fairy lights neat and untangled during storage by coiling them into a bucket.
