also helping with accessories on trailers aswell. I love my trade as i learn something new everyday and have such a fantastic opportunity to grow."
Favourite part: "Proving everyone wrong that I can achieve my goals and pursue a career in an area which is normally male dominated. Showing that
no matter what your passion is, when you put your mind to it you can accomplish alot. I grew up working on cars with my family and was given a fantastic
opportunity to grow my knowledge at PTE Group and I've learnt so much already!

What has it been like being a woman in a male-dominated industry?
"I've grown up working around cars my whole life as my father has been a big influence on wanting to learn more about cars doing hands on things. It has been tough as everyone sees you as a woman and thinks you can't do a trade because your not strong enough etc. I found it hard to find a place that would give me a chance to show that I can work hard and do my job.
I love my job, it's so amazing to have so much support behind me and having people wanting to help me everyday to learn new things. I'm the only female on the tools at my work and I love it, everyone treats me equally. My passion has always been working on tools with anything automotive and I wish to strive in this area as I grow older and learn more. The more I learn, the more it makes me realise that no matter what your goals are, you can achieve them! You just need to put your mind to it and go for it."
