Cadbury eggs, bunnies, egg hunts, Autumn and a LONNGG weekend - these are a few of our favourite Easter things! This is what makes up an Australian Easter.
For most us, this also means a weekend (LONNGG) getaway! Falling between mid-March to mid-April, Easter is the perfect time for any kind of camping.

Beach is one of the
most popular areas in
Queensland during
the Easter period. Rainbow Beach is located on the Fraser Coast of Queensland, lying north of Noosa Heads and south of Fraser Island.
If it's mid-April and the season has finally started to feel like Autumn, a bush camping retreat might be on the cards. Bunya Mountains Naitonal Park is
another hugely popular Easter spot for Queenslanders. With ample bush tracks, colourful parrots that love a good hand feed, and roo's and wallabies running free - it's a true Weekend Warrior destination.

Handy Easter Tips:
1. Egg Hunts
Hosting a killer egg hunt for the kids? Save yourself some trouble and invest in some of the colourful plastic egg cases to put the chocolate eggs in first! Easter falls in mid-March this year, so knowing Australia - it might still be hot! This will keep tidy the mess of melting eggs.
2. Plan
Rays of sunshine like long weekends (especially LONNGG weekends) are far too few - so savour the Easter one! Plan your 4-day break well, so that you're not spending too much time making last minute decisions and retracing steps!
3. New Wardrobe
Before Easter arrives - do yourself a favour and invest in a pair of loose pants...none of us have any will power when it comes to the wonder that is cadbury chocolate!
