During 2018, we were exposed to a roller coaster of weather conditions, but through it all, we made a commitment to focus on the details and course playability. The emphasis on simple aerification and our frequent topdressing program has continued to provide smooth, firm and consistent putting surfaces. We have also focused on reducing the organic buildup on our playing surfaces which directly affects playability, water management and most of all plant health. Our off-season tree pruning program will begin to pay benefits as the turf begins to grow during the spring months. Across the board, we are committed to making improvements to the course that will provide long term benefits. We are excited about the upcoming 2019 season. We will continue to elevate our course conditions from tee to green. Bunker consistency, new tree and shrub plantings and upgraded water stations are just a few of the improvements you will see. While our commitment has been to provide country club conditions, our goal will always be to provide a fun and memorable golf experience to the community. Todd Vermillion Golf Course Superintendent
