Student Achievements Hitesh Ganwani, SLS 16 1. Hitesh of BA/BBA did a Research and Social media internship at Orglife Consultancy. There, his role was to Write a Research report on waste management across India. He also learnt and handled some of the clients' Social Media Handles. He learnt a lot of tactics about reader attention strategy and client conversions. 2. Hitesh Ganwani and Niharika Ravi, 3rd semester student of B.A./B.B.A., School of Liberal Studieswere selected for the 23rdGurukul, organized bythe Foundation of Universal Responsibility of HH the Dalai Lama. 29 participants from 16 states across India and 23 different universities participated in this 21 day programme. The programme was organized from 25th June to 17th July. It began with a 3 day familiarization tour of Dharamshala. During the programme, participants lived in monasteries and nunneries where they started each day with meditation. The participants also got a chance to meet Sikyong, the president of Tibet in Exile. The participants got the exposure to various Tibetan art forms and culture such as ThangkaPainting, wood Painting, musical instruments, etc. They were explained about the Tibetan Cause by various NGOs like Gu Chu Sum, Tibetan Women Association, Tibetan Youth Congress and Students for Free Tibet. Participants also attended a 5 days class of Buddhist Philosophy, so as to know more about Buddhism. Hitesh Ganwani said, "Gurukul Programme has given a fair idea about the Tibetan history, culture, artforms and also about the Buddhist philosophy." 14
