STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
Hitesh Ganwani and Kishan Darji of SLS'16 visited the Wings to Fly Foundation of
Ahmedabad to make a small effort to give back to the society. 'Wings to Fly
Foundation' is an organisation which skills and empowers women who previously
indulged into bootlegging and other illegal activities. The organisation is headed
by Inspector Arpita Vyas and has achieved a successful platform for its innovative
initiative. The two SLS students visited this foundation and interacted with the
women present regarding water conservation while giving them some practical
ideas for the same. They also distributed some stationery for their children while
symbolically encouraging them to prompt their children to study.
