Snapchat Geofilter!
STEPS:
1. Think of a creative idea for a geofilter and an original way to showcase
it. Snapchat won’t activate your submitted geofilter if it’s not original content or “creative enough.”
2. Once you’ve got your idea, it’s time to create. I suggest Photoshop - so
many tools, and an easy saving format just right for submission.
3. When you begin on Photoshop, create a new document that is 1080 px
wide and has a transparent background (Snapchat requirements).
4. Then, the design is up to you!
5. When you’re done styling it the way you want, it’s time to save. If
you’re using Photoshop, just do File > Export > Save For Web. Make sure
it saves as a PNG.
6. Go to Snapchat’s geofilter submission site and select the area on the
map you want your geofilter to show up.
7. After that, it’s just providing your information and a description of your
geofilter, and click submit!
8. Once you’ve submitted, Snapchat will send you a confirmation email
and then it’s just a waiting game to see if your geofilter gets accepted and
activated.
