KP: WHAT IS THE LAST PLACE YOU TRAVELED TO? 16 TD: “I just recently came back from Vietnam and Japan three weeks ago. I had some friends who were traveling around there and the great part about working for myself is that I can take time off when I want to and see the world at times that other people can’t. I try to travel at least once a year.” KP: WHAT IS THE LAST FASHION MISTAKE YOU MADE? TD: “I like to think I don’t make mistakes. Oh god, I don’t want to put down anyone’s style or any thing, but there was a time when I had a really big thing for high-low skirts and one time when I was walking, it caught on a tree branch and ripped completely. I took that as a sign and was like, ‘OK, these are no good anymore.’” KP: WHAT IS THE LAST THING THAT MADE YOU LAUGH? TD: “I was just in San Diego and laying by a pool. I completely jumped in and (I’m sure this happens to everyone too) my whole bottoms came off. I was like, ‘There are children and families present! That’s probably not something people want to see.’ I came up and pretty much laughed about that.” KP: WHAT IS THE LAST THING YOU SPLURGED ON? TD: “Oh gosh, I try not to splurge on too much. But actually, I bought camera equipment. I had to buy a camera harness so you can hold two cameras when you shoot weddings. I pulled it out of the mail last night and my roommate thought I was shopping for some S&M stuff since it’s like a leather harness.” KP: WHAT ARE YOUR THREE GO-TO CLOTHING BASICS? TD: “I love jumpsuits. I’m all about jumpsuits because I feel like they are so easy-going and sometimes I feel too girly in dresses. I can always be found wearing a hat; I love hats so much. They’re awesome because I’m not good at doing hair or makeup, so when I wear a hat it’s because I don’t like what’s going on under there; so basically everyday. I love rings; I usually have them all over.” KP: WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 5 YEARS? TD: “Definitely still doing photography. Hopefully working for bigger brands, maybe a little bit more LA based. But at this time, I still really like SLO and where I live and what’s going on here. So yeah, not much different than what’s happening right now. More plants. Probably more tattoos. And photog- raphy all the way.”
