TWO FIVE-STORY WALK-UPS AT 521-523 EAST 12TH ST. SELL FOR $10MM
A pair of contiguous five-story, walk-up apartment buildings
comprised of 36 apartments and four ground floor retail stores
in Manhattan’s East Village at 521-523 East 12 th St. have traded
for $10.9 million.
Eastern Consolidated Senior Director Adelaid Polsinelli and
Associate Director Robert Khodadadian represented the seller, a
long-time owner, and procured the buyer in all-cash sale of the
two buildings situated between Avenues A and B.
The buildings are five-story walkups, each 25-ft wide, comprised of 20,000 square feet. There are 36
apartments, a mix of one-bedrooms and two bedrooms with 16 units free market, while 20 are rent
stabilized.
The four retail stores include Ciao for Now, a family owned café and bakery celebrating its 11 th year in
business. The building Faces a city-owned park.
