Skorch I decided to shed off my fears that were deeply engrained and I started simply enjoying myself and my body discovery While being a plus size woman, I have been always creative with accommodating my wardrobe to my body: I would alter clothes from the straight size rack to fit my curves most of the time. It was not until the curve revolution started a few years ago, or rather, until it occurred to me that more labels and designers are out there that cater to me. I decided to shed off my fears that were deeply engrained and I started simply enjoying myself and my body discovery. In the Fall of 2016, I approached one of local plus size designers I admire, Yona New York, whom I met at her Pop-Up event. I was really encouraged by her message about her designs: You can be bold, powerful and beautiful without revealing everything like on a platter! Soon after, I was attending my first ever fashion show as a runway model for Yona. That very same time, I was scouted by an agency to join them as a plus model. I pondered, but I could not be happier with my decision. This not only boosted my confidence but also further allowed to develop Urbanephoto. F INTERVIEW E AT U R E
